Wrap around labels
A wrap around label circles the container completely, overlapping itself so there is no exposed substrate. It gives most of the visual coverage of a sleeve on a straight-sided container, at pressure sensitive prices.
How it works
The label is sized so that it laps onto its own leading edge. That overlap has to bond to the printed surface rather than to the container, which makes adhesive choice and any surface varnish in the lap area important.
-
Cylindrical containers
Straight-sided bottles, tins and tubs where a sleeve would be overkill.
-
Maximum print area
Effectively the full circumference is usable.
-
No visible substrate
Useful on containers whose bare surface is unattractive.
-
Cost control
Cheaper than a shrink sleeve where the container is straight-sided.
