Cut and stack labels
Cut and stack labels are printed, then guillotined into stacks rather than left on a roll. They are applied with wet glue or hot melt by the labelling machine, which is still the standard on many established bottling lines.
How it works
Because there is no adhesive on the label itself and no liner, the material cost per label is the lowest of any format. The trade-off is that application depends entirely on the machine and the glue rather than on the label.
